Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Tep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tep comes to the cage accompanied by You're the Best Around. Evans is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I need Scissors!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans tries to bum rush Tep with a series of wild strikes but Tep uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chris Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Tep throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A clash of legs there as Tep blocks the low kick.
Evans throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tep goes for a takedown in the clinch but Evans prevents it.

Tep drops down looking for an ankle pick but Evans pulls his leg out and moves away.
Evans swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tep throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tep takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Tep is rocked!
Tep throws a lazy right hand but Evans sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Evans throws a right hand that Tep ducks under and follows up with a left that Tep also avoids with ease.
Tep with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Evans to score with a decent uppercut.
Oh Tep is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Evans gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Evans kicks off Tep and gets to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Tep shoots in looking for a takedown. Evans tries to sprawl out of it but Tep keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Evans manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tep is trying to trip Evans. He has hold of a leg but Evans is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tep persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
