Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rick Romero (ranked 4502 p4p, 3587 weight class) and Max Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rick Romero has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rick Romero seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Taylor but Taylor pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Taylor drives through with a takedown into Romero's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Romero avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Taylor is looking to stand up but Romero won't let him.
Romero has his hands on Taylor's head, controlling the position.
Taylor passes into half guard.

Taylor slips a nice elbow through Romero's hands, connecting with Romero's forehead.

Romero is bucking up trying to escape but Taylor cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Romero knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taylor on the ground.

Taylor manages to capitalize on a mistake by Romero to take his back!

Taylor is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Romero has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Taylor has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Romero taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Taylor doesn't care though - he's delighted!
