The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kalinic.

Quaglia misses with a hook.
Quaglia keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Quaglia. That snapped Kalinic's head back.
Kalinic fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kalinic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Quaglia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kalinic on the ground.

Kalinic looking to break Quaglia's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Quaglia remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kalinic will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Kalinic has the hooks in. Quaglia is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Quaglia is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Kalinic is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Quaglia is defending well though. Kalinic let's go of the attempt for now.

Kalinic is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Quaglia with him. Quaglia is trying to defend but Kalinic has an arm under the chin now! Quaglia grimaces and is forced to tap out!
