Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Murphy (ranked 5205 p4p, 6127 weight class) and Sukhothai Jitmuangnon (ranked 525 p4p, 568 weight class). Murphy comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murphys - Smash Shit Up. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jitmuangnon closes the distance and pushes Murphy back into the cage.
Murphy tries to stall but Jitmuangnon uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Jitmuangnon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Murphy. That snapped Jitmuangnon's head back.
Jitmuangnon cracks Murphy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Paddy Murphy has been cut.
Jitmuangnon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Murphy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jitmuangnon walks into a straight right hand from Murphy.

Jitmuangnon rushes Murphy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jitmuangnon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Murphy cracks Jitmuangnon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Murphy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jitmuangnon to stand back up!

Jitmuangnon gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Murphy gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Jitmuangnon is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
