Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Lees (ranked 4389 p4p, 4260 weight class) and Kyle Waller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lees fails with a takedown attempt.

Lees walks forward, straight into a front kick from Waller.
Lees tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Waller avoids the head kick by Lees.
Waller's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Waller duly obliges.

Waller moves into the clinch successfully.
Lees goes for a takedown attempt but Waller pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Lees holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Waller stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Waller wants it to stay on the feet.
Waller goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Lees tries to counter by clinching up but Waller breaks away and moves out of range.

Waller shoots in and bounces Lees off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lees tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Waller slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Lees bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Waller's guard.

Waller has Lees pulled in close to control his posture.
Lees won't allow Waller to sweep him here.
Waller is adopting a defensive guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Waller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lees is controlling him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Waller is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Lees breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lees doesn't manage to clinch there - Waller circles away.
Waller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Waller tries for a takedown but Lees sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Waller lands a nice shot to the body.

Waller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lees was covering up waiting for the punch and Waller finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Waller has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lees is proving hard to escape from.

Lees looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Waller is fending him off so far but Lees persists. Nope, Waller circles away and we're back to standing.
Waller thuds his shin into the meat of Lees's side.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
