PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Augusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tody Garber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garber has chosen Sweet Child O' Mine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Augusto or perhaps it was just good defense by Garber which made him look bad.
Garber tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Augusto swivels and escapes.

Augusto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Garber manages to get back to half guard.

Garber isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Augusto stacks Garber on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Augusto!

Augusto cracks Garber with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Garber jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Augusto walks away with a smile on his face. Garber gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
