Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noel Diaz (ranked 8 p4p, 180 weight class) and Adam Shalashaska (ranked 2 p4p, 28 weight class). Diaz's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Stockton Slap Song. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Shalashaska!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shalashaska with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Diaz misses the shot to the body.

Shalashaska throws a chopping leg kick but Diaz manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

As Shalashaska tries to get set, Diaz tries to push him back and clinch up but Shalashaska manages to avoid the attempt.

We've been informed that Shalashaska has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but Noel Diaz did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.
