Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Narz (ranked 905 p4p, 1434 weight class) and Lewis Burwell Puller (ranked 55 p4p, 82 weight class). Puller comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hello kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Lewis Burwell Puller has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Peter Narz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Narz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lewis Burwell Puller!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narz throws a sloppy head kick
and Puller counters with a right hand to the body.
Narz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Puller sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Puller swings for the body but Narz moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Puller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Narz scores with a leg kick.
Narz moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Narz lands a jab to the nose.
Narz throws out a leg kick but Puller moves out of range and Narz only half commits.
Narz has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tōshi in the buildup to the fight.
Puller blocks a head kick by Narz.
Puller lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Puller.
Narz throws a body shot but no joy.
A little jabbing left from Puller on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Narz scores with the left hand. Puller knows he should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Puller throws a jab when Narz was well out of range.
A nice leg kick from Narz, right into the meat of the thigh.
Puller misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Narz.

Puller drops Narz with a left right combo! Puller follows him down to the ground into side control.

Narz is rocked!
Narz looking for a sweep but Puller has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Oh Narz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Narz tries to hold on but Puller pushes him away.

Puller looking to control but Narz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Narz seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Narz is looking to get to half guard.
Puller has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Narz's face.
Narz is desperately trying to improve his position but Puller has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puller putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Narz is trying to escape the mount.
Puller landing strikes from the mount.
Puller controlling the pace for now.
Narz tries to lock up and control but Puller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Puller looking to control and managing it successfully.
Puller looking to control but Narz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Narz working to try and regain half guard.
Narz's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Puller trying to control but Narz is having none of it.
Narz is looking to get to half guard.
Puller avoids the attempt from Narz to control.
Puller tries to control but Narz wriggling away.
Puller prevents Narz from getting the reversal.
Puller lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Narz can't escape the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Puller trying to control but Narz is having none of it.
Puller controlling the pace for now.
Narz is wriggling around trying to escape.
Narz is squirming around, avoiding Puller's attempts to control the action.
Puller scoring with strikes but Narz is staying in there.
Puller content just to control the position here.
Narz really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Narz wants to hold on but Puller pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Puller controlling the pace for now.
Narz tries to reverse the position but Puller maintains control.
Narz is working hard here to advance position.
Puller in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Puller is trying to control here but Narz has managed to regain half guard.
Narz pushes Puller off looking to stand but Puller dives back in and keeps control.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Puller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Puller wants to take a breather but Narz is having none of it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Puller connects with a nice short shot to Narz's temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Puller not doing much here.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Lewis Burwell Puller dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Puller jabs at Narz's body.
Puller avoids the head kick by Narz.
Nice uppercut there from Narz.
Puller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Narz throwing a counter right hand but Puller manages to avoid it.
Peter Narz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Narz lands a nice leg kick that just misses Puller's sensitive parts.
A big left from Puller misses.
Puller looks to land a left hand but Narz moved out of range nicely.
Narz throws a big counter combination but Puller scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Puller on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Narz. Narz obviously looking to wear him down.
Puller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Narz half committed to a counter leg kick.
Puller walks into a stiff left hand from Narz.
Puller cracks Narz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Puller misses with a two punch combination.

A telegraphed right hand from Puller misses the target.
Narz dodges the punch combination from Puller.
Puller throws a jab but it's blocked by Narz.
Puller misses the shot to the body.

Puller throws a jab when Narz was well out of range.
Narz throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Narz throws a right hand that Puller ducks under and follows up with a left that Puller also avoids with ease.
Puller misses with a hook.
Puller throws a hook but Narz avoids it easily.
That kick from Narz tenderised Puller's leg. Puller is trying to keep his angry face on.
Narz shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Puller swinging wildly here.
Puller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Narz looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Narz catches Puller with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Narz ducks right into an uppercut from Puller.
Lewis Burwell Puller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Puller with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Narz to score with a decent uppercut.
Narz pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Narz scores with a nice right hand.
The crowd cheers as Narz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Puller doesn't seem phased though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Narz takes one to the chin there.
Narz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Puller is rocked!

and Narz counters with a big right hand! Oh Puller is in trouble here! Narz follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Narz!

Lewis Burwell Puller was interviewed post fight and said 'It was not my night. Congratulations to my opponent. You were the better man tonight. You just gave me the ultimate motivation.'.
