Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randle Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fighter Three!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Smith is looking to advance position but Three won't allow it.
Three is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Smith jumps into side control!
Smith passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Three!
Three is squirming around, avoiding Smith's attempts to control the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Three defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Smith.
Smith controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Three for as long as he can get away with.
Smith continues to stall.
Three is squirming around, avoiding Smith's attempts to control the action.
Smith throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Smith tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Smith is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Three is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Three flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Smith anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Three and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Smith slips an arm under Three chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Smith has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Smith is squeezing on Three like an anaconda would it's prey. Three fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Randle Smith!
