The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smyth stalks Philbin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Philbin's face. Philbin staggers backwards, shaken.
Philbin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smyth misses with a two punch combination.
Philbin cracks Smyth with a good jab.
Smyth wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Philbin cracks Smyth with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smyth looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Philbin finish him?

Smyth is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Smyth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Philbin drops Smyth with a huge uppercut! Smyth drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Philbin is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
