Adams gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Speer counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Speer looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Adams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Adams tries to get out of the position.
Speer lands with a punch from half guard.
Speer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Speer scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Speer thows an elbow strike that misses. Adams gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Speer doesn't seem too bothered but Adams quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Speer is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Speer really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
