Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Pinochet (ranked 2075 p4p, 1629 weight class) and Eerikki Salmi (ranked 269 p4p, 224 weight class). Pinochet kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Need a Pinochet. Salmi has chosen Korpiklaani - Ievan Polkka as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Augusto Pinochet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eerikki Salmi!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinochet connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
An inside leg kick lands from Pinochet.
Salmi fails with a takedown attempt.
Salmi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pinochet sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Salmi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Salmi blocks a head kick by Pinochet.
Pinochet uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pinochet lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Salmi has his takedown stuffed
and Pinochet cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Augusto Pinochet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eerikki Salmi.
Salmi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pinochet's waist but Pinochet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salmi off to one side.
Pinochet throws a quick counter head kick but Salmi was just out of range.
Pinochet scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Salmi with a poor takedown
and Pinochet counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pinochet tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Salmi has his takedown stuffed
and Pinochet counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Salmi thinking.
Pinochet misses with a low kick.
Whack! Pinochet lands a heavy head kick that drops Salmi. The ref tackles Pinochet to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Salmi was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Augusto Pinochet!
Augusto Pinochet bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
