PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Horton McKenzie (ranked 2640 p4p, 24286 weight class) and Pawel Nastula (ranked 333 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horton McKenzie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie lands a jab to Nastula's midsection.
McKenzie scores with the left hand. Nastula knows he should have avoided that one.
Nastula takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McKenzie, as that shot connected.

Nastula is rocked!
Nastula takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Horrible takedown attempt by Nastula or perhaps it was just good defense by McKenzie, which made it look bad.
A lazy left from McKenzie finds it's target.
Nastula is still on wobbly legs! Can McKenzie finish him?
McKenzie ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nastula seems to have recovered his senses.

McKenzie feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nastula sprawling to the canvas! Nastula rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McKenzie finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nastula leaves his chin hanging out and McKenzie seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Nastula crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Horton McKenzie!
A very excited looking Horton McKenzie rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
