Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cubert Farnsworth (ranked 4258 p4p, 4255 weight class) and Sori Mizjackzin (ranked 249 p4p, 251 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizjackzin shoots in for a takedown but Farnsworth shows good takedown defense.
Farnsworth gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Farnsworth goes for a takedown attempt but Mizjackzin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Farnsworth stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Farnsworth wants it to stay on the feet.
Farnsworth tries to clinch but Mizjackzin moves out of range.
Mizjackzin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Farnsworth moves into the clinch.
Cubert Farnsworth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sori Mizjackzin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mizjackzin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Farnsworth prevents it.

Mizjackzin closes the distance and clinches up with Farnsworth, looking for a takedown. Mizjackzin pushes Farnsworth against the cage but Farnsworth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Farnsworth shoots for a double leg takedown but Mizjackzin sprawls well. He's pushed Farnsworth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mizjackzin shoots in for a takedown but Farnsworth shows good takedown defense.
Mizjackzin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It appears Farnsworth was looking to counter with a kick there.
Mizjackzin moves into range and clinches up with Farnsworth.
Mizjackzin gets control of Farnsworth's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mizjackzin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Farnsworth wants to control from the top but Mizjackzin keeps moving.
Mizjackzin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Farnsworth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Farnsworth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mizjackzin wants to sweep but no luck.
Mizjackzin is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Farnsworth has his hands clasped together but Mizjackzin extends and breaks Farnsworth's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Mizjackzin.
