Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Durp (ranked 4378 p4p, 3707 weight class) and Cameron Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doyle has chosen Pull Up as his entrance music. Cameron Doyle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cameron Doyle!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durp avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cameron Doyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doyle looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Durp throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Durp fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Doyle fails to land with a series of punches.
Doyle looks to throw the jab but Durp is out of range.
Durp tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Doyle defends well and Durp ends up having to push Doyle into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Doyle tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Durp goes for a takedown attempt but Doyle pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Durp decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Durp jumps guard but Doyle turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Durp fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Doyle clinches up with Durp and pushes him back against the cage.
Durp is trying to drag Doyle to the mat but Doyle just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Doyle tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Durp is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Doyle is defending well.

Durp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Doyle fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Durp, pushing him back against the cage.

Durp pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Doyle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Doyle wants it to stay on the feet.
Doyle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Durp swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Doyle darts in and clinches Durp up against the cage.
Durp jumps guard but Doyle stands there with Durp around his waist. Durp gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Durp fails to pull guard.
Durp pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Durp pushes Doyle back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Doyle tries to clinch up but Durp circles away and keeps his distance.

Doyle moves in looking to clinch but Durp pushes him off.

Doyle shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Durp eats them both and turns towards Doyle to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Durp goes for a double leg but Doyle avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Doyle continues to drive forward.
Durp content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Durp drops down looking for an ankle pick but Doyle pulls his leg out and moves away.
Doyle listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Doyle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Durp paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Durp throws a low kick but Doyle moves out of range easily.
Durp misses with a takedown attempt - Doyle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Durp dives in and grabs Doyle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Doyle pushes down on Durp's head and hops out.

Durp blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Durp wants to take the fight to the mat but Doyle manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Durp - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Doyle has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Doyle swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Doyle throws a head punch that misses.

Durp jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Doyle walks away with a smile on his face. Durp gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Durp has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Doyle is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Durp trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Durp shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Doyle as he jumps to the side.

Durp shoots in looking for a takedown but Doyle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Durp's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
