Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sagat Petchyindee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sagat Petchyindee!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter A lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Sagat Petchyindee has been cut.
Fighter B has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fighter A finds it's way round the side to connect with Fighter B's head.
Fighter B tries to clinch but Fighter A moves out of range.
Fighter A goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fighter A looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fighter B. Fighter A does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fighter A tries to land a body kick
and Fighter B counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Sagat Petchyindee has been cut.
Fighter B fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Fighter A wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fighter A tries a low kick but Fighter B avoids it.
Fighter B wants to counter the offense by Fighter A and move into the clinch position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fight stays on the outside here - Fighter A looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fighter B chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fighter A can pounce on him.
Fighter A misses with a series of wild punches.

and Fighter B cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fighter B missing with a left hand there. Fighter A was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sloppy strikes from Fighter B. Those never looked like landing.
Fighter B on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Fighter B moves out of range of the body kick from Fighter A.
Fighter B tries to counter by closing the distance.
Fighter B thuds his shin into the meat of Fighter A's side.
Fighter B fails to land with a series of punches.
It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there.
Fighter B slips a jab and a cross from Fighter A.
A countering left hand to the body from Fighter B misses.

Fighter A clinches.
Still in the clinch, Fighter A scores with a nice short uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fighter B takes an elbow to the forehead.

Fighter A breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fighter B throws a jab but it's blocked by Fighter A.
Fighter B takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Fighter B misses with a kick to the body.
Fighter A wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Crunch! Fighter B slams his shin into Fighter A's torso.
Fighter A throws a looping overhand right but Fighter B ducks down to avoid it.
Fighter B is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fighter B. Fighter A does a little dance to reset his feet.
As Fighter B backs away, Fighter A returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Fighter A trying to stall but Fighter B improves his position.
Fighter B lands a body punch.
Fighter A doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
With the fighters up against the cage, Fighter A throws an elbow but misses.

Fighter B's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That kick from Fighter B tenderised Fighter A's leg. Fighter A is trying to keep his angry face on.

Fighter B throws a wild body kick that Fighter A sees coming a mile off.
Fighter A throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Fighter B.
Fighter A moves out of range as Fighter B strikes.
And Fighter A counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter B blocks it.

Fighter A instigates a clinch.
Fighter A lands a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fighter A has Fighter B pressed against the cage, preventing Fighter B from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Fighter A trying to stall but Fighter B improves his position.
Fighter B blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Fighter B landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Fighter B dodges an elbow strike from Fighter A.
Fighter A blocks an elbow strike.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sagat Petchyindee dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fighter B shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Fighter A throws a leg kick which misses Fighter B's front leg but catches the back leg as Fighter B tries to avoid it.

Fighter B pushes Fighter A up against the cage in a clinch.

Fighter A's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fighter B shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Fighter A looks to throw the jab but Fighter B is out of range.
Fighter B looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sagat Petchyindee is winning the standup battle so far.

Fighter A tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Fighter B manages to circle out of the way.
Fighter A lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fighter A throws a nice inside leg kick.
Fighter A jabs Fighter B right on the nose. Fighter B blinks but takes it well.
Fighter A misses with a two punch combination.
Fighter A lunges at Fighter B with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fighter B's hand.
Fighter A changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fighter A throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fighter B stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fighter B moves out of range of the body kick from Fighter A.
Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well.

Fighter A rushes Fighter B and presses him up against the cage.
Fighter A pushes Fighter B back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Fighter A lands a hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fighter A scores a nice knee to the body.
Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around?

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Fighter B just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fighter A's brow.
Fighter A lands an elbow that stopped Fighter B in his tracks for a moment.

Fighter B blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Fighter A pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Fighter A cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fighter B with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fighter A to score with a decent uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
