Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dante Wolfgang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor has chosen Back in Black-ACDC as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wolfgang closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wolfgang lands in his opponent's guard.
Wolfgang trying to control the position from guard on top but Taylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wolfgang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taylor swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wolfgang makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Taylor has his foot on Wolfgang's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wolfgang works his way back into a safe position though.
Wolfgang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wolfgang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wolfgang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taylor swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wolfgang passes Taylor's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Wolfgang seems to be looking for submissions.

Wolfgang is looking for a kimura but Taylor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wolfgang to get the leverage.
Wolfgang is breathing heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wolfgang is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wolfgang is just content to waste time from the top position. Taylor takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Wolfgang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The referee asks Wolfgang politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wolfgang prefers to stall for the moment though.

Wolfgang has hold of Taylor's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Taylor tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wolfgang cranks the arm and Taylor screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Taylor, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
