Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Ovechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rage against the machine- Killing in the name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sam Robinson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ovechkin blocks a low kick nicely.

Robinson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Robinson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ovechkin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ovechkin moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Robinson has worked his arm free - good work by Robinson!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Robinson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ovechkin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Robinson's guard.
Robinson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ovechkin is controlling him.
Ovechkin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Robinson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Robinson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Robinson!
Robinson decides to stand back up. Robinson steps back and let's Ovechkin get back to his feet.

Ovechkin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robinson pinned against the cage. Robinson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ovechkin misses with a series of wild punches.

Alexander Ovechkin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ovechkin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Robinson has left one of his arms exposed and Ovechkin doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Robinson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
