The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobunaga moves away from the strike by Gardener.
A jab from Gardener misses.
Nobunaga showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gardener.
Gardener just misses with a punch to the body.
Gardener scores with the left hand. Nobunaga knows he should have avoided that one.
Gardener waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nobunaga.
Gardener throws out a loose jab but Nobunaga uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nobunaga shoots in for a takedown but Gardener shows good takedown defense.
Gardener looks to land a right hand but Nobunaga moved out of range.
Nobunaga steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Gardener.
Gardener misses with an uppercut
and Nobunaga counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Gardener!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nobunaga just content to control the position.
Nobunaga's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Nobunaga wants to control but Gardener is keeping him busy.
Nobunaga taking a breather here.
Gardener is pushing Nobunaga's head away, looking to escape. Nobunaga manages to hold on to the position though.

Nobunaga is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gardener's shoulder. That is not cool.
Gardener is not content to let Nobunaga control the position.
Nobunaga tries to advance to mount but Gardener denies him.
A lull in the action here as Nobunaga stalls from top position.
Gardener tries to escape but Nobunaga is in control.
Nobunaga stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Nobunaga moves away from the strike by Gardener.
Nobunaga avoids the head kick by Gardener.
Gardener throws a lazy uppercut
and Nobunaga counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Gardener is trying to force a seperation but Nobunaga has the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gardener keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nobunaga's efforts to push away.
Gardener is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Gardener escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gardener scores with a shot to the body.
Nobunaga has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gardener finds it's way round the side to connect with Nobunaga's head.
Nobunaga is rocked!
Gardener fakes the body blow, causing Nobunaga to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Nobunaga goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

AJ Gardener retains his bantamweight title!
An intense looking AJ Gardener took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Let's goo, I am now champ!! I would like to run it back with Clinton and defend my title one other time and then move back up to 145, this weight cut is not good.'.
