PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between LaMango Ball (ranked 5819 p4p, 22916 weight class) and Bsmds Nasmfus (ranked 609 p4p, 663 weight class). Ball comes to the cage accompanied by Chief Keef - Appreciation. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasmfus is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
LaMango Ball seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ball works over Nasmfus's head and body with a nice combination.
Nasmfus is looking to clinch but Ball is avoiding it.
Ball throwing a counter right hand but Nasmfus manages to avoid it.
Ball scores with the left hand. Nasmfus knows he should have avoided that one.
Ball throws a body punch but Nasmfus moves out of range.
Nasmfus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ball lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nasmfus's sensitive parts.

Nasmfus has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ball finds it's way round the side to connect with Nasmfus's head.

Nasmfus has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Nasmfus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ball manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ball takes a swing at Nasmfus's ribcage but misses.
Nasmfus throws a sloppy head kick and Ball moves out of range easily.

It looks like Bsmds Nasmfus has been cut.
Ball misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nasmfus tries to clinch but Ball moves out of range.
Ball blocks the body kick.

Nasmfus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ball, pushing him back against the cage.
Nasmfus tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ball wants to break free but Nasmfus has control.

LaMango Ball has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bsmds Nasmfus.
Ball is trying to push Nasmfus away but Nasmfus has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Nasmfus breaks from the clinch.

Nasmfus darts in and clinches Ball up against the cage.

Ball pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nasmfus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nasmfus tries a head kick but it misses.
Nasmfus goes for a double leg but Ball avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ball continues to drive forward.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Bsmds Nasmfus's cut.
That's time! Ball's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nasmfus throws a sloppy head kick and Ball moves out of range easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ball. That's going to slow Nasmfus down.
Nasmfus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ball.

Nasmfus is standing up over Ball. Ball looks to escape but Nasmfus dives into side control.

Nasmfus is working Ball over with some ground and pound from side control.

Nasmfus is trying to get an arm triangle but Ball is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nasmfus connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Ball some visible discomfort.

Nasmfus lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A lull in the action here.
Ball knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nasmfus on the ground.

Ball is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nasmfus connects with a decent elbow.

Ball is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Nasmfus is continuing to stall.

Nasmfus is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Ball with him. Ball is trying to defend but Nasmfus has an arm under the chin now! Ball grimaces and is forced to tap out!
