The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamar has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mamar there as he acknowledges the shot.

Rodrigues lands a left and a right that send Mamar crashing to the mat, dazed. Rodrigues thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Mamar is rocked!

It looks like Kevin Mamar has been cut.
Mamar slips a jab from Rodrigues.
Mamar swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rodrigues walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mamar drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rodrigues swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mamar's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adilson Rodrigues!
Adilson Rodrigues is the new heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Adilson Rodrigues thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
