The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Kuronoa takes the fight into the clinch.
Morrison Jr. wants to take the fight to the mat but Kuronoa manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Morrison Jr. turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Morrison Jr. manages to end up in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kuronoa is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Kuronoa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Morrison Jr. is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kuronoa has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Our spies down at at Tran MMA Gym inform us that Morrison Jr. has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Morrison Jr. is working for a rear naked choke. Kuronoa is not defending it well and Morrison Jr. has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Kuronoa refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Kuronoa's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
