Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Remi Chavaski (ranked 41 p4p, 21 weight class) and Noel Diaz (ranked 7 p4p, 3 weight class). Diaz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Stockton Slap Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Remi Chavaski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Noel Diaz!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz tries to sprawl but Chavaski drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Diaz is refusing to be controlled, as Chavaski sits in half guard.
Chavaski has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Remi Chavaski will probably get the nod.

After the fight, Noel Diaz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
