Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janky Jankens (ranked 5698 p4p, 5962 weight class) and Macka Briggs (ranked 600 p4p, 615 weight class). Jankens comes into the arena with Straight Outta Compton by- NWA blaring out of the sound system. Briggs has chosen Stepping Razor by Peter Tosh as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Macka Briggs!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Briggs misses the shot to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Briggs has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Jankens looks to land a left hand but Briggs moved out of range nicely.
Jankens just misses with a punch to the body.
Jankens clobbers Briggs with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jankens takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Janky Jankens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jankens. Briggs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jankens looks to land a right hand but Briggs moved out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jankens walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jankens definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Briggs feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jankens sprawling to the canvas! Jankens rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Briggs finish him?!
Jankens is rocked!
Jankens slips a jab and a cross from Briggs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Briggs swings for the body but Jankens moves out of range.
Jankens closes the distance and clinches.

Briggs's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Jankens swings wildly with an uppercut but Briggs uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jankens tries to work over Briggs's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Jankens throws out a loose jab but Briggs uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jankens lands a glancing blow to the side of Briggs's head.
Jankens missing with a left hand there. Briggs was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Briggs throws a hook to the side of Jankens's head but Jankens sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Briggs throws out a powerful jab.
Briggs swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Briggs cracks Jankens with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Briggs has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jankens to stand back up!
Oh Jankens is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jankens tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Briggs paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jankens seems to have got his legs back now.
Jankens is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
It seemed like Briggs was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Macka Briggs bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
