Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Graham Mantle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Snapple Grapple!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grapple shoots and misses
and Mantle counters with a two punch combo.
Grapple scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mantle holding on.
Mantle is not content to let Grapple control the position.
Grapple swings around for an armbar but Mantle sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Grapple's guard.
Mantle wants to control from the top but Grapple keeps moving.
Grapple looking for a guillotine here but Mantle defends easily.
Mantle missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Grapple is looking for a triangle but Mantle pushes his legs off easily.
Grapple has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mantle is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Grapple.
Mantle is looking to take a break and control but Grapple is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Grapple is looking to regain half guard here but Mantle keeps moving and retains side control.
Mantle has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Grapple!

Grapple is trying desperately to improve position.
Mantle scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Grapple is bucking up trying to escape but Mantle cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Mantle tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Grapple can't escape the position.
Mantle looking to finish Grapple with some ground and pound. This is bad for Grapple!
Grapple tries to reverse the position but Mantle maintains control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mantle avoids the attempt from Grapple to control.
Grapple is trying desperately to improve position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mantle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mantle looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Grapple is rocked!
Mantle lands a big shot to the head and Grapple winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

A relieved looking Graham Mantle thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
