Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karel Sup (ranked 2969 p4p, 3182 weight class) and Patrick Knight (ranked 366 p4p, 390 weight class). Patrick Knight has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight gets caught flat footed, as Sup shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Knight is wriggling around but Sup manages to pass to half guard.

Sup thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sup is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Knight sees it coming and defends easily.

Knight moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Sup has worked his arm free - good work by Sup!
Knight wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sup keeps working.
Sup tries to bench press Knight off him but Knight keeps the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Knight wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sup, who protects the arm well.
Sup gets back to half guard.
Sup moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sup is on top in guard.

Sup won't allow Knight to get back to his feet.

Knight working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sup doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sup manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sup drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Knight manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sup has Knight in his guard.

Sup tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Knight swivels and escapes.
Knight misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sup shoots in looking for a takedown but Knight manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sup's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sup is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knight can do to turn this around?
Knight looks to land a combination but Sup avoids it well.

Knight throws out a counter right but Sup avoids it with no problem.
