The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stephenson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Travis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Landry Stephenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Travis connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Travis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stephenson.
Travis keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Stephenson is rocked!
A telegraphed right hand from Travis misses the target.
Oh Stephenson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Travis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Stephenson seems to have got his legs back now.

and Travis counters with a crisp right hand that drops Stephenson! Travis lets Stephenson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Travis! But no joy.
Stephenson misses with a takedown attempt - Travis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Landry Stephenson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Travis lands a big right hand that sends Stephenson crashing to the mat! Travis stays standing though and waves Stephenson back to his feet!

Travis has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Travis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stephenson has time to react.
Stephenson is holding his hands too far apart here. Travis throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Stephenson is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
