Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deshawn Miller (ranked 4421 p4p, 24685 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 496 p4p, 0 weight class). Mariusz Pudzianowski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mariusz Pudzianowski!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Miller has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pudzianowski off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pudzianowski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miller.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pudzianowski regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Miller.

Pudzianowski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Miller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Miller stands and throws Pudzianowski's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Miller is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pudzianowski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pudzianowski keeps working.
Pudzianowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pudzianowski tries to buck Miller off but Miller is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pudzianowski feints and as Miller raises his hands in defense, Pudzianowski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Miller pushes Pudzianowski off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Miller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pudzianowski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Miller decides to stand back up. Miller steps back and let's Pudzianowski get back to his feet.

Pudzianowski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pudzianowski wants it to stay on the feet.

Miller manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Pudzianowski dives in for a single leg takedown but Miller sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Miller bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

That was a close second round but I would say that Deshawn Miller will probably get the nod.
That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Miller gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pudzianowski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Miller pinned against the cage. Miller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pudzianowski sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
