Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Holmgren (ranked 4421 p4p, 3507 weight class) and Jack Poz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmgren kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 800*. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Holmgren ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Holmgren no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Holmgren pushes Poz off and scrambles back to his feet.
Poz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Poz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Holmgren kicks Poz off and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holmgren rushes Poz and presses him up against the cage.
Poz fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Poz throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Holmgren gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Poz to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Holmgren is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Holmgren looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Holmgren can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Poz controls the pace.
Holmgren is looking for a triangle here but Poz uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Holmgren tries to bench press Poz off him but Poz keeps the position.
Poz content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Poz has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Holmgren!

Poz has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Holmgren doesn't defend quickly enough and Poz has managed to lock this one up! Can Holmgren escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Poz on a fantastic submission victory.
