The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a takedown
and Tokugawa counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tokugawa defends it nicely.

Lee pushes Tokugawa up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee wants to take the fight to the mat but Tokugawa manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Kai Tokugawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Willy Lee.

Lee tries to throw a body punch but Tokugawa avoids it by throwing Lee back against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tokugawa creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Tokugawa creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lee's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lee drops to his knees and Tokugawa pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
