Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Luciano (ranked 69 p4p, 712 weight class) and Anwar Rinda (ranked 11 p4p, 74 weight class). Anwar Rinda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ricky Luciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anwar Rinda!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rinda shoots for a double leg takedown but Luciano sprawls well. He's pushed Rinda's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Luciano takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Luciano has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Rinda slips under a jab.
Rinda ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rinda closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Luciano wants to control but Rinda postures up.
Luciano tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rinda is working to tighten his grip on Luciano's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Luciano has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rinda is really squeezing tight and eventually Luciano passes out! Rinda breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Anwar Rinda!
