Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Sogrin (ranked 1773 p4p, 1469 weight class) and Tim Blood (ranked 264 p4p, 226 weight class). Sogrin comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Sonne. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sogrin throws an off balance right hand
and Blood finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Sogrin misses with an uppercut. Blood saw that one coming.
Sogrin backing away here, and Blood unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Blood buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sogrin throws the kick towards the body but Blood avoids it.
Blood fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sogrin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sogrin swats away the attempt to clinch by Blood.
Blood moves out of range as Sogrin strikes.
Sogrin moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tim Blood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blood avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Sogrin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Sogrin is looking to chop away at Blood's legs.

Blood tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sogrin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A left and a right from Sogrin both land. Nice combination.
We've been told by Sogrin's head coaches at Tycoon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sogrin blocks a head kick by Blood.
Sogrin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Blood is rocked!
Blood drops his hands momentarily and Sogrin needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Blood just on the top of the head. Blood drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Blood - he's done!
