PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Jacobson (ranked 3808 p4p, 3095 weight class) and Petr Vrabec (ranked 358 p4p, 307 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Jacobson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Petr Vrabec!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson slips a jab and a cross from Vrabec.
Dylan Jacobson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jacobson wants to pass the guard but Vrabec is keeping the position.

Vrabec closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jacobson circles away.
Jacobson throws a hook to the side of Vrabec's head but Vrabec sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jacobson throws an overhand right that lands on Vrabec's shoulder, as Vrabec tries to avoid the shot.

Despite the aggression on Vrabec's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

We've been informed that Vrabec has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dylan Jacobson will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jacobson is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Outlier Martial Arts, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
