Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kingsley Nasir (ranked 5442 p4p, 5270 weight class) and Kirk Lazarus (ranked 103 p4p, 95 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kingsley Nasir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kirk Lazarus!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazarus is looking to clinch but Nasir is avoiding it.
As Lazarus tries to get set, Nasir tries to push him back and clinch up but Lazarus manages to avoid the attempt.
Lazarus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nasir pinned against the ropes. Nasir gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nasir is looking to counter the offense by Lazarus and move into the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lazarus or perhaps it was just good defense by Nasir, which made it look bad.
Nasir seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Lazarus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nasir sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lazarus somewhat.
Nasir tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lazarus manages to circle out of the way.
Kingsley Nasir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kirk Lazarus.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lazarus. Nasir does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nasir wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Lazarus's coach down at Doom's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lazarus's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lazarus fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Lazarus shoots in and drives through. Nasir sprawls well.
Nasir seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
We've been hearing reports that Nasir has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lazarus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nasir tries to avoid it but Lazarus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nasir to the ground. Nasir escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lazarus controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Nasir knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lazarus on the ground.
Nasir is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lazarus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nasir's guard.

Kirk Lazarus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lazarus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
