The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Walker jabs at Nastula's body.
Walker fails to land the takedown.
Walker tries to clinch but Nastula moves away

so Nastula counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Walker controls Nastula momentarily but Nastula frees himself.
Nastula is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Walker is looking for a triangle here but Nastula uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Walker is trying to control Nastula's posture but Nastula avoids it.
Nastula wants to stand but Walker has his arm trapped.

Nastula is chipping away with strikes.
Walker tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nastula wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Nastula is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Walker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Nastula wants to stand but Walker is controlling his arm.
Nastula blocks the strikes from Walker.
Nastula lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Walker down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nastula controls the position.
Walker tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nastula wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Walker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Nastula tries to advance to mount but Walker denies him.
Walker wants to control but Nastula postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Walker works over Nastula's head and body with a nice combination.

Nastula swats away the attempt to clinch by Walker.
Walker fails with a takedown attempt.
Nastula wants to counter the offense by Walker and move into the clinch position.

Walker pushes Nastula up against the cage in a clinch.

Nastula gets control of Walker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nastula will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nastula has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Walker is looking to defend but Nastula has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Walker! Nastula pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Walker taps out and this one is all over!
