Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gracie Penn (ranked 6405 p4p, 4361 weight class) and Triple OG (ranked 95 p4p, 44 weight class). Triple OG will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
OG looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Penn shoots in but no luck this time.
OG lands with a good body shot.

OG's coach down at SISU Fight gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on OG's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

OG paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

OG lands a really nice looking cross but Penn seems unphased.

OG scores with a one two! Penn had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Penn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. OG sprawls well initially but Penn persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Penn decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

and OG makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

OG works over Penn's head and body with a nice combination.
Penn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around OG's waist but OG gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Penn off to one side.

and OG counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

OG fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
OG connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Penn's hands.
OG thuds a left hand into Penn's body.
Penn wants to clinch up but OG keeps it at a distance.
OG ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Penn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Triple OG dominated that round.

Penn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. OG looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Penn has hold of OG's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! OG tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Penn cranks the arm and OG screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from OG, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
