The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Musa.
Sukarman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Musa throws a right and a left that both miss.
Musa cracks Sukarman with a right hand to the side of the head.

Musa has managed to clinch.

Sukarman wants the takedown. Musa is fighting it off but Sukarman persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Musa's guard against the cage.
Musa is trying to control the position but Sukarman postures up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Musa is on top in guard.

Musa throws a big right hand that misses.

Sukarman has momentary wrist control but Musa slips an elbow through the middle.
Musa lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sukarman wants to stand but Musa is controlling the position.

Sukarman is looking to regain half guard here but Musa keeps moving and retains side control.

Musa scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sukarman is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Musa can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
