The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynestay tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rousseau swivels and escapes.
Maynestay shoots for a takedown but Rousseau saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rousseau scores a takedown into full mount!
Rousseau breaks from Maynestay's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Maynestay is working to get back to half guard.
Rousseau lands a big shot there that rocks Maynestay but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
It looks like William Maynestay has been cut.
Rousseau trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Rousseau lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That has opened up William Maynestay's cut even more.
Rousseau lands a big elbow.

William Maynestay's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
