Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moe Moose (ranked 25049 p4p, 2598 weight class) and Frederic Bastiat (ranked 0 p4p, 373 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moose tries a head kick but it misses.
Moose definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Moose throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bastiat throws out a counter right but Moose avoids it with no problem.

Bastiat shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Moose pushes Bastiat off but Bastiat dives into side control.
Moose is breathing heavily.
Moose tries to buck Bastiat off but Bastiat is having none of it.
Check out the look on Bastiat's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Moose on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bastiat cracks Moose with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Moose tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bastiat pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Moose is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Frederic Bastiat was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
