The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan lands a high kick!

Gonzalez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Morgan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gonzalez has Morgan in his guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gonzalez can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gonzalez has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Morgan off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Morgan throws a right hand that Gonzalez ducks under and follows up with a left that Gonzalez also avoids with ease.
Morgan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Morgan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Gonzalez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morgan keeps working.

Gonzalez goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Morgan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gonzalez's guard! Nice work there by Morgan!

Horrible takedown by Morgan or perhaps it was just good defense by Gonzalez which made him look bad.

Nick Gonzalez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
