Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Beach Boy (ranked 1412 p4p, 1226 weight class) and Darken Rahl (ranked 85 p4p, 69 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Beach Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Darken Rahl!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beach Boy slips under a jab.
Beach Boy appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Rahl misses with a few strikes there.
Rahl tries to land a leg kick but Beach Boy saw it coming and moves away.
Rahl waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Beach Boy.
Beach Boy tries to counter with a takedown but Rahl is quick to defend against it.

Beach Boy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rahl's guard.
Beach Boy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Rahl is pulling down on Beach Boy's head to control his posture.
Rahl is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Beach Boy postures up in Rahl's guard and throws a big left but Rahl blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Anderson Beach Boy will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Darken Rahl showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rahl is fighting off a takedown attempt but Beach Boy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rahl to the mat. Rahl regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Beach Boy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rahl's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rahl accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anderson Beach Boy.
I think Beach Boy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Anderson Beach Boy tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
