Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Luc Picard (ranked 5156 p4p, 4165 weight class) and Devin Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Picard circles away quickly and effectively.
Brown connects with a jab.
Brown lands a leg kick that knocks Picard off balance momentarily.

Picard clinches with his opponent.
Picard struggles to land a body shot inside as Brown controls his hands.
Picard prevents Brown from breaking the clinch.
Brown tries to circle away but Picard has him pinned against the cage.
Picard tries to pull guard but Brown won't allow it.

Picard jumps guard.
Picard has his hands on Brown's head, controlling the position.

Picard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Picard is tightening it up a little... Brown has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Brown reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Brown taps out! Nice BJJ there by Picard!
