Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ganny Kogir (ranked 2212 p4p, 2662 weight class) and Rustam Tsubekov (ranked 290 p4p, 338 weight class). Kogir has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Rustam Tsubekov enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsubekov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kogir defends it nicely.
Tsubekov shoots and misses
and Kogir counters with a nice uppercut.
Kogir lands a lovely overhand right.
Kogir fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tsubekov manages to avoid it.
Kogir definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tsubekov shoots in for a double leg but Kogir sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ganny Kogir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rustam Tsubekov.

Tsubekov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kogir is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tsubekov yanks on the arm and Kogir is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tsubekov.
