These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hansen connects with a leg kick.
Hansen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hansen lands a front kick.
Poutine's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Poutine's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Poutine looks winded!
Hansen and Poutine are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Hansen throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Poutine into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Hansen knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
