Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Penkosip Bizihwaile (ranked 488 p4p, 650 weight class) and Manuel Silva (ranked 68 p4p, 95 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Penkosip Bizihwaile!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manuel Silva!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Manuel Silva has been cut.
Bizihwaile misses with a low kick.
Bizihwaile lands a nice leg kick that just misses Silva's sensitive parts.

We've been told by Bizihwaile's head coaches at The Lab that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

And Silva tries to counter it with a takedown but Bizihwaile pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Silva is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Silva stands up over Bizihwaile, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

A close round but Manuel Silva will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bizihwaile does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Silva drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bizihwaile defends it well.
Bizihwaile tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.
Bizihwaile misses with an uppercut.

Penkosip Bizihwaile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bizihwaile lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Silva has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bizihwaile.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bizihwaile tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bizihwaile fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Silva counters with a head kick that wobbles Bizihwaile - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Silva sends him down. This one is all over!
