The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovacs ducks under a wild hook from Killstone.
Killstone throws a body punch but Kovacs moves out of range.
Kovacs rushes Killstone and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kovacs.
Kovacs swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kovacs misses with the head strike.
A short uppercut from Killstone.
Kovacs lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Killstone backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Killstone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kovacs scores with a shot to the side of Killstone's head.
Killstone throws a punch but it's blocked by Kovacs.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kovacs.
Kovacs lands a shoulder strike.

Killstone throws a punch but it's blocked by Kovacs.

Killstone struggles to land a body shot inside as Kovacs controls his hands.

Kovacs misses with a short punch on the inside.

Kovacs content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Kovacs blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Killstone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Killstone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
It seemed like Kovacs was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kovacs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Killstone moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kovacs throws a head kick but Killstone moves out of range.
Kovacs has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nice body punch from Killstone.
Killstone tries to work over Kovacs's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Killstone looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Killstone lands with a light punch inside.
Kovacs manages to break the clinch.
Killstone lands a nice hook to Kovacs's body. Kovacs takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kovacs misses with a right hand
and Kovacs takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Killstone throws a hook to the side of Kovacs's head but Kovacs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Killstone thuds his right hand into Kovacs's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Killstone moves out of range of the strikes.
Kovacs cracks a nice hook into Killstone's ribs.
Killstone scores with a punch to the head.
Kovacs is rocked!
Killstone jabs Kovacs to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Killstone scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Kovacs to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Killstone away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Kovacs got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Kovacs is still on wobbly legs! Can Killstone finish him?
Killstone weaves into range and cracks Kovacs right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Kovacs goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Killstone is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Butch Killstone!
