Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zico Macedo (ranked 3326 p4p, 5598 weight class) and Filipe Silveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipe Silveira will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silveira lands with a nice body punch.
Silveira scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Silveira connects with a right hand. Macedo shakes it off.
Macedo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Silveira connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Macedo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Silveira sizes up Macedo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Silveira comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Silveira lands a nice hook to Macedo's body. Macedo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Macedo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Silveira looks calm but he's in trouble here. Macedo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Silveira is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Macedo lets go of the hold and Silveira can pop his arm back in it's socket.
