The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loaf keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Leonardo Teixeira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Teixeira fails in his attempt to clinch.
Teixeira is looking to clinch but Loaf is avoiding it.
Teixeira has a takedown stuffed.
Teixeira closes the distance and clinches up with Loaf, looking for a takedown. Teixeira pushes Loaf against the cage but Loaf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Loaf tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Teixeira paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Loaf scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Teixeira doesn't seem bothered though.
Teixeira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loaf but Loaf pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Teixeira is breathing heavily.
