Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Godefroy Courtial (ranked 1814 p4p, 3441 weight class) and Conor Aldo (ranked 185 p4p, 332 weight class). Aldo has chosen The Foggy Dew as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Conor Aldo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Godefroy Courtial!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Conor Aldo!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo throws a sloppy head kick and Courtial moves out of range easily.
Courtial throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aldo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Courtial misses with a looping right.
Good work by Courtial as he checks the leg kick.
Aldo lands with a cross.
It looks like Godefroy Courtial has been cut.
Courtial with a hook.
Aldo clobbers Courtial with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Courtial ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aldo moves away.
Courtial tries a head kick but it misses.
Courtial lands with a hook. Aldo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Aldo misses with a hook. Courtial ducked under it nicely.

Courtial keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Aldo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Courtial avoids the head kick by Aldo.
Aldo throws a lazy head kick
and Courtial cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch but Courtial swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Courtial connects with a body shot.
Aldo blocks a leg kick.
Aldo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Courtial on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Courtial fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aldo.
Aldo has closed the distance and engaged Courtial in a clinch.
Courtial blocks a body shot from Aldo.
Aldo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Courtial blocking some punches.
Aldo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Courtial tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Aldo lands a left hand.
Aldo tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Courtial gets through Aldo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Courtial escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Courtial slips a jab from Aldo.
Courtial lands with a kick to the temple. Aldo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aldo avoids the head kick by Courtial.

Aldo is looking to clinch.
Aldo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Courtial swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Aldo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Courtial checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Courtial avoids the head kick by Aldo.

Aldo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Courtial.
Courtial blocks a low kick nicely.
A combination from Courtial does no damage.
Aldo throws out a counter right but Courtial avoids it with no problem.

Aldo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Courtial lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Aldo backwards.
Courtial swings wildly with an uppercut but Aldo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Courtial scores with a shot to the side of Aldo's head.
Aldo is rocked!
Courtial lands a body punch in the clinch.
Aldo is still on wobbly legs! Can Courtial finish him?
Courtial dips a shoulder and cracks Aldo with a mighty uppercut! Aldo falls back against the cage and Courtial unloads with a barrage of strikes! Aldo is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Courtial screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Godefroy Courtial!
The defeated Conor Aldo had this to say: 'I stormed in and put it all on the line. I took a shot and missed.
