Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Halfdan Ulfgeirsson (ranked 896 p4p, 921 weight class) and Jesse Pinkman (ranked 118 p4p, 123 weight class). Pinkman has chosen DLZ by TV on the Radio as his entrance music. Halfdan Ulfgeirsson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinkman walks into a straight right hand from Ulfgeirsson.
Ulfgeirsson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pinkman looks to score with a jab to the body but Ulfgeirsson is just out of range.

Jesse Pinkman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pinkman bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ulfgeirsson's head.

Pinkman closes the distance and clinches.
Ulfgeirsson has a couple of punches blocked by Pinkman.

Ulfgeirsson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pinkman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ulfgeirsson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Pinkman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Pinkman has his foot on Ulfgeirsson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ulfgeirsson works his way back into a safe position though.

Ulfgeirsson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Pinkman has locked up a guillotine! Pinkman's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Ulfgeirsson is holding on here and Pinkman must be using up a lot of energy. Ulfgeirsson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Pinkman gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
